ROAD TEST (Non CDL) ARE GIVEN BY A DRIVER LICENSE EXAMINER OF THE ALABAMA LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY (ALEA)

Driving State Id Locations

ALEA requires applicant to bring:
  • Vehicle to test in that can pass a safety inspection.
  • Valid proof of insurance.
  • Current vehicle registration.   
  • Road test applicants must be accompanied by a licensed driver. 16 year-olds must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian.
