A public hearing regarding the final draft guide – A Citizen’s Guide to Growth in the Zoned Areas of Baldwin County will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. in the Baldwin County Administration Building County Commission Chambers located at 322 Courthouse Square, Bay Minette, AL 36507.

The Baldwin County Planning District 39 Advisory Committee will meet on the following days to review the draft map and local ordinances for the newly formed Planning District 39.

The Baldwin County Commission Highway Department will be installing overhead wayfinding signage on the Foley Beach Express on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Portions of the Foley Beach Express between County Road 12 and Roscoe Road will be impassable to through traffic during the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The Baldwin County Building Department office located inside the Fairhope Satellite Courthouse at 1100 Fairhope Avenue, Fairhope, Alabama 36532 will be temporarily closed for approximately six to eight weeks for relocation and renovations beginning on Monday, May 29, 2023.

The Baldwin County Commission has had another busy, yet successful year. A state of the county video was created in-house by Baldwin County Commission staff to look back at projects completed over the course of the last year, while also giving an overview of future initiatives that the Commission and its partners will continue working on moving forward.

The Baldwin County Animal Shelter is in urgent need of volunteers. The primary needs at this moment are for volunteers to help with walking the dogs as well as playing with the dogs outside to help them get their daily exercise while also socializing them.

The Baldwin County Highway Department announces that the intersection at County Road 13 and Twin Beech Road (County Road 44) will be impassable to through traffic beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2023, until Wednesday, December 13, 2023, for the construction of a roundabout.
