It's that time of year again; Baldwin County is participating in the Back to School Sales Tax Holiday! The holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2023 and ends at midnight on Sunday, July 23, 2023.

The Baldwin County Commission was awarded $4,820,000 in GOMESA funds for the construction of a new boat launch and park, The Launch at CR6, on the Bon Secour River.

During medical emergencies, it can be difficult to answer all of the questions that first responders may be asking. The Baldwin County Council on Aging offers a FREE service called the Vial of Life Program that may be particularly helpful for those with a complex medical history.

Under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) the Baldwin County Commission is authorized to use a portion of their awarded fiscal recovery funds for investments in Potable Water, Sewer, and Stormwater Public Infrastructure Projects.

On Friday, June 23, 2023, around 2:30 p.m. Baldwin Regional Area Transit System (BRATS) received a call from Bay Minette Police Corporal, Paul Adams requesting support with transporting a church youth group to their final destination after being stranded on Hwy. 59 South of Bay Minette due to their bus catching fire.

For the senior citizens who wish to have a hot, and nutritious meal in addition to access to a variety of activities, volunteer opportunities, and health screenings, there are six Senior Nutrition Centers to enjoy in the Baldwin County area.
